Beauty Banks charity partnership

We are really pleased that DASH has been invited to join the BEAUTY BANKS movement as a charity partner.

Through an expanding collaboration with Superdrug BEAUTY BANKS are able to support charities across the UK with donations of personal care and hygiene products for them to pass onto their service users.

BEAUTY BANKS is not a charity organisation in the traditional sense – they want to serve as many people as possible and they do that via people-power and communities supporting communities. Their model involves partnering a charity with a BEAUTY BANKER (a Beauty Banks volunteer collector) in their area who collects donations on behalf of BEAUTY BANKS and donates them to the partnered charity.

DASH is partnered with the Superdrug store at the Prince Bishops Centre, Durham.

This store is an official BEAUTY donation point and DASH is the recipient of all donations made to that store. The store collects donations in their donation bin. Customers can drop in donations from home or buy them in store to donate. Everything collected is unused. When the bin is nearly full the store contacts DASH to ask us to pick up the product donations which include shampoo, bodywash, toothpaste, deodorant, disposable razors etc.

We would like to thank Jo Jones & Sali Hughes, Co founders of BEAUTY BANKS.
