We are grateful to Once a Month for their kind donations of sanitary products.
Once a Month is a student-led volunteering project within the Durham University Student Volunteering and Outreach organisation. Their aim is to tackle period poverty by donating sanitary products to charities and homeless shelters. Once a Month has a network of sister projects across multiple universities in the UK who have been successfully running for a few years.
Starting from November, unopened sanitary products are being donated by students and staff at Durham University. Once a Month also have various fundraising activities planned to offer further support.
